THE ROLE

As a Poly Welder, your role will involve:

• Working on a number of major dewatering projects
• Operating various poly welding machines
• Installing HDPE pipelines and associated water services
• Mine dewatering – bores, pumps and sumps
• Machine Operator – bulk earthworks, loading and unloading pipework

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• HDPE Butt-Fusion and Electro-Fusion Welding Tickets
• Extensive knowledge of HDPE pipe, fittings and installation
• Experience using a wide range of welding machines, such as McElroy, Dixon and Ritmo
• Able to interpret drawings and work unsupervised
• Sound understanding of procedures and quality compliances regarding HDPE welding
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• National Machine Tickets – Loader, Excavator or Bobcat (Desirable)
• High Risk Non-Slewing Crane Ticket (Desirable)
• OHS Construction Induction (White/Blue Card)
