The Role:
As a highly valued and compassionate Registered Nurse In Charge working SATURDAY TO TUESDAY NIGHTS you will join teams who are renowned for providing high standards of care to residents and their families.
- Provide high quality, safe and effective nursing care that aligns with the individual residents’ preferences in line with the individuals care plans
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care
- Anticipate residents’ changing health needs and manage requirements appropriately
- Support residents and their families by responding to queries and feedback
- Attend to wound care and safe administration of medication
- Maintain clinical documentation to a high standard
- Adhere to clinical accreditation standards
The Successful Candidate:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Clinical experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting
- Experience with ACFI assessments and documentation
- Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Able to proactively lead, coach and develop staff
- Flexible in responding to changing resident needs
- Ability to work in partnership with customers, their representatives, and families
- Sound clinical judgement, skills and knowledge
- Well-developed communication skills including written and verbal
- Excellent time management with a systematic approach to prioritising duties
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
- Current influenza and COVID vaccinations notifications (or approved exemptions)
