Our Client:

Our client is a multi-disciplined engineering and construction company that self-performs EPC, engineering and design, construction and maintenance services into various industry sectors such as minerals and mining, oil and gas, non-process infrastructure and utilities across Australia.

The Exciting Opportunity:

They have undergone a massive transition and are now looking for a Senior Level Corporate Office Administrator. This position will initially be based in West Perth however, in the next few months will be moving to their funky new luxurious 1000 sq metre office space, in East Perth hosting riverside views.

They have an amazing and collaborative team orientated culture and in this role, you will be the go-to person for the team who connects the dots, brings people together and keeps the office running. You will be responsible for hiring a receptionist in the near future who will be under your supervision and mentorship.

The office currently employs 25 staff and they are looking to grow to 60 in the next 12 months due to new business and project acquisition. This is a varied and interesting position where no 2 days are the same and the team is really engaging and friendly.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

  • All office management
  • Supporting the team will all office related matters
  • Processing orders and raising POs
  • Meeting organisation, diary management, aligning attendees
  • Organising company events and lunches
  • Formatting Microsoft Word documents and checking correspondence before it goes out
  • Cost tracking
  • Ensuring budget and spend is up to date for office related matters
  • Inductions
  • Processing expenses and updating necessary spreadsheets
  • Updating cost spreadsheets on Excel and preparing other financial excel reports
  • You will be highly involved and instrumental in the office move which is coming up
  • Emailing company updates so everyone feels connected
  • Dealing with suppliers and negotiating favourable terms
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations
  • Updating Intranet

The Successful Candidate:

  • Must have at least 5 years similar office-based experience in a similar position
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple duties
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken – must be a people person
