Blue Collar Underground Fitters (HD / Pump / Drill)

THE ROLE

Underground HD Fitters, Drill Fitters and Pump Fitters required for a busy gold mine in the Goldfields. You will be responsible for breakdown and servicing of machines as required. A strong experience background and underground operations is essential for the role.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Mechanical trade qualification with minimum 2 years’ experience;
• Prior Underground Experience
• Experience with Jumbos (Drill Fitter), Boggers and Trucks (HDDF), Small plant and Pumps and experience with Paste Crew (Pump)
• Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical drawings;
• Ability to work with others and achieve objectives;
• Commitment to continuous improvement;
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Time management and ensuring quality service; and
• Good verbal and communication skills.
